About Elexa Wagaman

My mission is to provide parents with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to raise resilient and emotionally strong children through mindful parenting techniques and expert coaching.

Hello! I'm Elexa Wagaman

A Trauma, Polyvagal, and Neuroscience Informed Parent Coach specializing in supporting parents with children who are neurodivergent. I’ve been happily married to my husband, Mike, for 25 years, and we’re the proud parents of two young teens living in Marietta, Georgia.

My journey began when my second child’s extreme behaviors really tested my resolve. I wanted to create the nurturing relationship I knew he needed, but it felt nearly impossible—until I learned to see the link between his brain and his behaviors. Recognizing his unique needs through a brain-based lens became a game changer for me and fueled my passion for a parenting approach where empathy and connection are essential.

I understand how scary, frustrating, and overwhelming it can be to parent kids who often exhibit explosive behaviors or act in ways that leave you feeling lost. My mission is to provide you with the tools and knowledge to understand your child's behaviors through a neurobehavioral lens. Together, we can uncover the “why” behind their behaviors and empower you to build the resilience needed to confidently navigate this journey.

My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel supported.

Remember, you don’t have to do this alone—I’’ll be with you every step of the way!

How It Works:

When you book a call with me, we’ll sit down together and talk so I can get a sense of what’s going on for you and your family and where I can offer support.

I’ll explain my approach and the options we have for working together. You can ask any questions you have and see what type of support would be the best fit for your life and schedule.

If it feels right to you, we can book our first session and get started.  If it’s not a good fit, I will do my best to offer alternative resources or suggestions for support, wherever possible. There’s no pressure of any kind, simply an opportunity to see if we are a good fit to work together.
